Solo Horton Brushes was founded in 1920, and by the mid-40s was one of the nation’s largest brush suppliers. With headquarters in New York City, Solo Horton became a large importer of fine artist brushes as well as a manufacturer and distributor of maintenance and production brushes. Solo Horton Brushes has since moved to Connecticut and continues in the tradition of its founders:
