Questions & Answers

  • I am looking for a tube brush (med to soft) to use on thin wall stainless steel with acetone that will not scratch and will with stand acetone. At least 12" long overall with diameters from 1/2 in to 2 inch.

    Tammy:
Thank you for your inquiry. Our 1200 series is a good fit for the application you describe. Natural bristles are soft and better than synthetics when working with solvents. We have a range of sizes that fit within the specs you provided. Start with the 1221 and work up in size.

Than you for your inquiry. Our stiffest tube brush is the steel 1400 series. https://www.solobrushes.com/products/steel-stainless-steel-brass-tube-cleaning-brushes-1400/

The 1200 series should provide the stiffness you need for the application. The 1201 is 1/8" DIA. They go up in size from there. https://www.solobrushes.com/products/1200-manually-operated-bristle-tube-twisted-in-wire-brushes-4141/
